Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad X13 Detachable, a new 2-in-1 PC designed for professionals. It adopts the popular tablet-with-kickstand form factor, similar to Microsoft's Surface Pro, and comes with a detachable keyboard and pen support.

The device is powered by Intel Core Ultra 3 series processors and features a 13-inch 2880x1920 IPS touchscreen with a 120Hz variable refresh rate. It offers up to 64GB of RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage, and a 45Wh battery for all-day use. Pricing starts at $1,999.

Lenovo positions this as a no-compromise device for flexibility and mobility. The keyboard includes 1.5mm key travel, charges the included Slim Pen, and features the iconic ThinkPad TrackPoint. The tablet is 9.3mm thin and includes Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and optional 5G.

Available in Q3 2026, the ThinkPad X13 Detachable aims to reignite interest in Windows tablets. It also supports Fedora Linux, appealing to a broader professional audience.
