Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges has shared an unboxing video for the first production unit of the revived Wideluxx panoramic film camera. The original Widelux, known for its rotating lens that captures wide panoramas, ceased production in 2000.

Bridges, a longtime fan of the camera, announced the revival project last year. The video shows him and his wife Susan opening the box with childlike excitement. He loads it with Kodak Tri-X 400 black and white film and captures the first images, showcasing the iconic mechanical operation and analog look.

The unboxing offers the clearest look yet at the recreated camera, which features the classic dials, viewfinder, and rotating lens. While a firm launch date has not been announced by SilverBridges, the company founded by Jeff and Susan Bridges, this milestone signals the camera is nearing full production.
