Honor has announced its next-generation foldable, the Magic V6, at MWC 2026. The company is taking direct aim at Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series with a device that promises significant advancements in key areas where it believes its rival has held back.
Based on early hands-on experience, the Magic V6 impresses with its ultra-slim design, measuring as little as 4mm when unfolded. It features a hardened structure, an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, and a hinge fortified with high-strength steel. Honor claims these improvements address common durability concerns with foldables.
The device sports major display upgrades, including a new anti-reflective layer and higher PWM rate for eye comfort, with full stylus support on both screens. It also packs the largest battery in a foldable to date—a 6,660mAh cell using new silicon-carbon technology for increased capacity in a thinner profile.
While the camera hardware sees iterative updates, it includes a new stabilization engine for better low-light photography. Magic OS 10 introduces enhanced multitasking and new Apple ecosystem interoperability features, positioning the V6 as a companion for iPhone and MacBook users.
