Westcott has launched the FJ250 250Ws Touchscreen strobe, a mid-tier light designed for on-location and studio use. It offers an impressive 850 full-power flashes from a single charge, the best battery life in the FJ series, while being one of the lightest models at just 1.9 kg.
The strobe features industry-leading recycle times between 0.01 and 0.9 seconds and includes high-speed sync and a Freeze Mode for bursts up to 50 fps. It is controlled via a full-color OLED touchscreen and is compatible with all FJ series wireless triggers.
Priced around $400, the FJ250 uses a Bowens mount for modifiers and includes a 12W bi-color modeling light. It is available now as a single unit or in a two-light kit.
