According to leaks from a reliable source, Intel's upcoming Bartlett Lake-S CPU family, codenamed for edge and embedded applications, will feature configurations with up to 12 high-performance P-cores and boost clocks reaching 5.9 GHz. These processors will use the LGA1700 socket but are not intended for the consumer retail market.

The lineup is reported to include 11 models across 125W, 65W, and 45W power tiers. The flagship model, the Core 273PQE, is said to offer 12 Raptor Cove cores, 36MB of L3 cache, and an integrated GPU. The main question is whether consumer motherboard manufacturers will add support for these chips on existing Intel 600/700-series platforms, offering a potential upgrade path.

While unlikely to attract owners of high-end Core i9 systems, these CPUs could be appealing for users with mid-range Raptor Lake i5 processors, as they may offer significant performance gains even in multi-threaded workloads. However, their availability and pricing on the open market remain uncertain.

Intel officially announced the Core 200E-series Bartlett Lake processors for industrial applications at CES 2025 but has not detailed specifications since. The new leak suggests the company may be nearing the order and shipment phase with its partners.
