Apple has introduced the iPhone 17e, a new model designed to offer significant value with major improvements at a starting price of $599. The phone is powered by the latest A19 chip, which Apple claims delivers double the speed of the iPhone 11, and features the new C1X cellular modem for faster connectivity.

The device sports a 6.1-inch display with Ceramic Shield 2 for enhanced durability and a familiar design. A key upgrade is the 48MP fusion camera system, presented as a substantial improvement over previous budget models. The iPhone 17e also includes MagSafe compatibility for wireless charging and accessories.

Apple's vice president, Kaiann Drance, stated the phone combines powerful performance and beloved features at exceptional value, designed to last for years. It comes in white, black, and soft pink matte finishes.

Pre-orders for the 256GB model begin March 4, 2026, with availability starting March 11.
