At Mobile World Congress 2026, Honor unveiled the Magic V6, a foldable phone that directly addresses the major compromises users have accepted with devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series.

The most notable improvement is the near-invisible crease on the inner display, reduced by 44% thanks to new ultra-thin glass. The phone is remarkably slim at just 8.75mm when folded, making it barely thicker than a conventional flagship. It also packs a large 6,660mAh battery with new silicon-carbon technology, promising all-day life even with the inner screen open.

Honor has also focused on the camera system, equipping the V6 with a 64MP periscope telephoto lens and leveraging the same portrait processing as its top-tier camera phones. The build is exceptionally robust, featuring an ultra-strong hinge, IP68/69 water resistance, and durable screen coatings.

With its combination of a refined design, reduced compromises, and strong performance, the Honor Magic V6 signals a credible threat to Samsung's long-held lead in the high-end foldable market. It launches in China in March 2026, with a global release to follow.
