Supermicro has officially launched a powerful new workstation centered on Nvidia’s GB200 Grace Blackwell Ultra superchip. This high-end system is aimed squarely at research laboratories and large enterprises that require the capability to run massive, trillion-parameter AI models on-site, rather than relying on cloud infrastructure.


Performance and Technical Specifications

The workstation carries a hefty price tag of $92,887.47, excluding taxes and shipping. For this investment, users receive a highly dense hardware configuration:

  • Memory Architecture: The system features a total of 748GB of memory, comprising 496GB of system memory for the Grace CPU and 252GB of HBM3e memory dedicated to the Blackwell Ultra GPU.
  • Compute Power: Nvidia states the platform offers up to 20 PFLOPS of FP4 performance, providing a three-fold increase in inference speed over the H200 chip.
  • Processing: The unit pairs a 72-core Grace CPU with the Blackwell Ultra GPU, creating a unified memory environment.
  • Efficiency: It supports continuous agent workloads capable of generating 1,200 tokens per second.

Storage and Connectivity

To handle massive datasets, the machine comes equipped with two 1.92TB and two 960GB M.2 NVMe drives. Furthermore, the inclusion of PCIe 5.0 and 6.0 M.2 slots allows for significant expansion.
