Google has officially started building anticipation for its upcoming hardware lineup by dropping a teaser on the Google Store. The promotional material provides a clear look at what is expected to be the Pixel 11 Pro. The design features a distinct gold frame and a redesigned camera housing that marks a departure from its predecessor.
While the Pixel 10 Pro utilized a glass-covered camera bar that integrated the LED flash and temperature sensor, the new model adopts a different approach. The entire camera section is now encased in glass, and in the space traditionally reserved for the flash, a new element appears: the Pixel Glow array.
Understanding the Pixel Glow Functionality
The Pixel Glow creates a vibrant visual effect, cycling through Google's signature color palette of red, green, yellow, and blue. References to this technology were previously discovered within the Android 17 beta code, suggesting that the feature will span across various hardware, including laptops.
Industry analysts believe the feature will function as an interactive notification system, similar to the light indicators found on devices integrated with voice assistants. According to early reports on the technology, the intended purpose is straightforward:
