New leaks suggest Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra will address a persistent image quality issue. Tipster Ice Universe claims photos from the new flagship will show reduced banding in subtle gradients compared to its predecessor, the S25 Ultra, thanks to tweaked image processing, despite using the same primary sensor.
Another leak reveals a 'Very White' color option. The phone is also rumored to feature a new 'Flex Magic Pixel' OLED display, developed over five years, which can restrict viewing angles for private content.
However, the S26 Ultra is expected to be more expensive due to rising DRAM and NAND flash costs, driven by high demand from AI datacenters. The phone is anticipated to be unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25th, with availability possibly starting March 11th.
