A New Kind of Voice-Controlled Gameplay
Developers 2P Games and FuncoreClub have officially released a demo for their quirky new title, Quack Quack Up (previously known as Over Duck'd). The game offers a fresh twist on the party genre by requiring players to use their microphones to issue commands, turning vocal input into the primary method of interaction.
Testing the Waters with Online Co-op
The current Steam demo provides a glimpse into the chaotic nature of the game. It features a dedicated map that supports up to four players in online co-op, allowing groups to experience the mechanics firsthand. The core objective involves organizing your duck flock, but the process is far from simple.
«Your voice is the critical tool for keeping your feathered friends from plummeting off cliffs. The level of intensity and volume you use to issue commands will directly dictate your success, often turning a smooth session into a hilariously disastrous one.»
Looking Ahead to 2026
While the demo highlights the immediate dangers these ducks face, players will have to wait a while for the full version. According to the developers, the complete experience is currently slated for a Q2 2026 launch on Steam. The final release promises a significant expansion, including:
- A diverse array of biomes and challenging terrains.
- Various character skins for deep customization.
- Enhanced online multiplayer features designed for maximum chaos.
